Topic: Rake for Autocross

Hey all, I had a quick question about rake in regards to autocross. 

I just came into a set of adjustable coilovers and was wondering if a little bit of rake is a bad thing.  I'm thinking about having the rear wheels sit just a little bit lower in comparision to the fronts.  Is this going to dork up the neutrality of the car at all?

If your rear sits lower than the front, that is a wedge.  If your rear sits higher than the front, that is a rake.

Ah, thanks for the correction.  So, does adding a little bit of wedge help or hinder cornering?

The idea behind a little rake was to lower front CG and raise rear CG to decrease understeer tendancies.  Experiment inconclusive.
