Installed the BMW seatbelt guides today. No significant difference in retractability of the seatbelts. I'm disappointed. It's a little bit harder for them to retract or maybe I'm not used to them yet. However, I think these guides do look "cleaner" than the JPM loops. I used the existing bottom hole i had to punch for the JPM loop for the top post of the BMW guide. Then, I punched a new hole for the bottom post of the BMW guide. The top hole created by the JPM loop i left filled with the JPM hardware. The BMW guides were a little bit of a pain to install because of the plastic backing strip you had to install on the inside of the seat and the retaining rings that went on the inside around the upper and lower guide posts. I just think the seatbelt retractors were poorly designed in our cars. The retracting mechanism should have been stronger to pull the seatbelt back into the wall. I now have two JPM seatbelt loops, black w/ yellow stitching, up for grabs. You will need to get two additional fasteners (2 quick snaps) from JPM since I had to keep and use two. $25 plus shipping. PM me. Thanks!
