More issues with JonyMac's Sky :(
« on: October 28, 2010, 09:57:26 AM »
Hilariously the day after I got my car back from the dealer replacing the HP Fuel Pump, I get another CEL for the throttle position sensor and then come out to find my car peed coolant all over the garage floor - and I thought I had it garage trained.  Bad Kappa!

So I top off the coolant tank grab my check valves and trundle on down to the dealer telling them - please replace the water pump.  After the last back and forth - they had no issue with this and took care of it and the TSB for the check valves in the coolant lines.  However, while taking apart the air box, the tech broke my Sky's nipple (PCV connector) and had to order a new one - should be here today...

So three more days without my Sky during perfect fall top down driving weather...

It's a good excuse to get the GM CAI or equivelent, you'll never have to worry about it.

So, I got the car back yesterday - runs really well now - new nipple, new water pump, installed check valves in the coolant lines...  Yeah Deep I have a Fujita CAI, but had put the stock cleaner back in while troubleshooting the MAF code - seems like weeks ago...  I gotta put her all back together this weekend.
