I have visited this site and others kappa-base many times before. I like this site the most. I currently own a 2007 base, silver pearl, and have about 105000 miles on it. I have this car since September/ 29/ 2006 and still enjoy it like the first day I got it.

Welcome to the forum, there are a lot of great people here and someone is bound to know the answer to any of your questions if not I promise to try and make one up for you.  Watch out for that GJ guy or that Romanian who likes to pretend that he can drag race, he likes to hit new members with this  :ttiwwp: so you might want to get some pic of your car up here before the sun rises in Eastern Europe so that you can prevent such an occurrence.

Do you actually have 105,000 miles on your car or was that a typo?  And this wouldn't be a proper post from me if I didn't do something like this.  Hey who has the most miles on their Kappa, anyone got more then 105,000?

PS there is a little  :kwh: in the above post I hope your not offended.

Well, Skydoo, welcome to the forum.  I see Sol Asylum too an opportunity to introduce me, so I don't need to worry about that.  Congrats on your 100K plus and may you have that many more miles of fun let in your car!

A few pics would be great! And if there is anything you ever wanted to know about your car, just ask.  Someone will post an answer!  (PS - don't believe everything you read, unless it's in my post :)  )

For the record GJ is not the Romanian pretender, he may pretend that he is in Romania from time to time after seeing the "Pretender's" pictures of girls with some sort of car or something in the background.  But I think a lot of us do that so....

I Live in Arlington but I go home in Oklahoma City all the time, that's why I have so many miles on the Sky. The first year it only had 6000 miles on it. The last two and a half years, It got about 99000 miles

Not too many cars have reached the 100K point yet.  How's she running and have you had to replace much under warranty?  Seems like the water pumps going early and the diff are the most common issues on some.

Thanks Spartan. All my oil change had been done by what use to be Saturn of Arlington. Now is a Dodge Dealer. I guess, I have been lucky. The last time I brought it in for the oil change the car had about 99000 miles, and they recommended to have a 100000 miles service on it. I declined. They gave me an estimate of 540 dollars; The service would included spark plugs, rear diff, and trans service.
 U4EA, I used to live in Arlington. Now I live in Grand Prairie in an area close to 360 and Camp Wisdom. I'm moving back to Arlington next month. Just tell me the address where you want to meet. I will use the GPS to get there.

Nope I think I said Kappa, otherwise my S10 has about 190K and a brand new upper ball joint as of this evening.  Good story there that I could derail several threads with.
