so i am well on my way to paying my car off in the third year of my five year loan, that plus an extra paycheck in December has me starting to seriously consider my mod options.
V8 - well what can i say, i grew up tinkering with old hot rods so stuffing a v8 into my sky just seems like the right thing to do, main draw back is i don't think i can swap the engine myself and i don't have 20k laying around to have someone run a conversion for me.
Turbo - i was looking at the performance autoworks turbo kits and i am fairly interested in them and they seem fairly affordable, but don't know a lot other than i understand the boost doesn't help on the low end.
superchargers - i have been drooling over the s/c's @ ddm for a while now, price wise they are about the same as the turbos. main thing i see on the ddm sc over turbo listed above is the color options on the sc's piping.
I have a short commute to work (around 15 mins split 50%50 on and off the freeway) under normal day to day use ( ie not goofing around with my sister and her challenger) the sky only sees more than 3500 rpm's on the freeway on ramps.
im not worrying about the dyi part for the turbo or super as If i can get my dad to move his 57 bell air out of the way i will have shop space and tools to use so

so thoughts or advice?
