I really hate seeing these concept cars. They all look alike, and the final product either never arrives, or is nothing like the original

The Volt is a perfect example

To be honest, to me it is just fat ugly!!!  Personal opinion of course but way overdone, way to many creases.  It's the curves that I have always liked on cars and ladies.  Another personal bias, similiar lines on Japanese cars which I swore a long time ago to never purchase.  So far I have not.  American cars for me thank you.  Uh, as a footnote all my Honda's were made right here in the USA!  I am glad that you mentioned it is a concept car.  It should remain one...  :usa:

Very good point.  One of the exceptions, and a very nice one!

Great point Sly Bob!  Indeed it was, just look on page 8 in the "Pontiac Solstice Book" by Gary Witzenburg and you will find Franz von Holzhausen's first concept sketch, it was a coupe, but Bob Lutz liked it immediately and a Sports Car was born.

Fugly. Sorry just me I guess.

Nope, not just you,  some designers just don't know when to quit, and this is an example where the designer should have quit after drawing the wheels . . .  fugly it is, and fugly it shall remain . . .

I like it, but I can see the potential in a real world car. On the other hand, I very much like the styling of the Sky, so it makes sense that I would like this.

Of course they will tame it back, and of course it will have a top, IF they ever actually build it!

At first I thought WOW!! But the more I look at it, the more I think it is too busy.

I do hope that GM,Ford or Chrysler will bring a new roadster to the american market.

I vote fugly as well......but I love the inventiveness going on with the tail lights!!  You can do so much more with LEDs then you ever could with incandescent bulbs!

Sorry guys, but I think "fugly" is too kind a statement to describe that abomination. It's not a car, it's a nightmare.

I won't be quite as harsh, it's...interesting, and the drive train tech sounds impressive.  Sure it's over-styled, but then concept cars should push people's buttons to get some type of reaction from a world that seems to believe it's seen it all and done it all.  I could see this in a Lady Ga-Ga video.
