My new 'Snowflake' wheels
« on: June 02, 2011, 12:48:07 PM »
Yesterday I got my new 'Snowflake' wheels mounted!  Woo Hoo!  Now I need to sell the original chromed alloy wheels.  Anybody know what they are worth?

Snowflakes look good.  Stock rims are not hot sellers I am afraid.

I saw G8TR's Sky with those on at the Mod Meet. They look nice!

ValSky also had those switched out from another Sky before she would even buy the car!

Thanks, Arabas!  They are 18" X 8" with +55 mm offset, just like stock.  And, of course 5 X 110 mm bolt pattern.

Arabas, those are the 'dealer optional' wheels that were offered on the Solstice.

That's a pretty neat trick considering he doesn't have them.
His car is next to mine in the picture and I don't see snowflake wheels anywhere.

P.S. The first time I saw these rims was on Stretch's Sky at Mecca. Only two cars had them, one sky, one sol. They looked sharp

You got a great buy on those.  I told the guy I would buy them for a certain price and he agreed and said he would set up a buy.  I didn't know he meant he was going to post it up immediately.  I was glad to read that Saturday afternoon that you'd bought them.  I knew because he said some guy out of Houston snatched them up.  And Lord knows I don't need another set of rims.  I need to sell the set of MODA 5's I recntly bought used.  Congrats!   :yay:
