Hi, I just started reading the info on the LV Brace. I have a 2009 Saturn Sky Hydro Blue 2.4 all stock. Will this fit the last model Skys? I just read I have to remove a resonator? Was that applying to Solstices? What is a resonator and what does that do? I plan to get a Hahn turbo or a DDM supercharger maybe like someday. Do you know if it will work with any of them?

LV, inventor of the LV brace will best answer the question, but yes it will fit and when someday comes for the power upgrade, it should still fit then as far as I know.

The problem may be timing. I'm not sure when LV will make more of these. They are a limited run item, and the current run is sold out.

LV will be along shortly to answer all your questions much better than I can.

If you plan on getting the DDM Supercharger, this brace will not fit. Removing the resonator will make it easier to install on a 2.4 but it can be reinstalled after. There is a plug that you can put in place of the resonator also.

DeepBlueGXP is correct about the DDM supercharger. If you are going to have that in the future then the LVKFCB will not work.
If you are getting a Hann turbo at a later time then that will work with the LVKFCB.
The resonator on the 2.4 is to make it a little more quiet for the intake sound. As DeepBlueGXP mentioned you can take it off plug it and then you can use the LVKFCB.
Now for some questions.
Have you done anything else to the suspension of your car?.
If the answer is no then I would wait until at least you get a BackBone, the combination of the two will make the chassis flex much less.
The other suspension improvements will be the ProBeam, sway bars and improve shocks and a set of better tires.
However, if all you are planning to use your car is for street driving and some occasional spirited driving, then just leave it factory stock.

I received mine on Saturday. Took about 15 minutes to install, fits like it's supposed to be there. It looks factory, I'm highly impressed with the quality.

I installed both the LVKFCB and a DDM 3/8" Backbone at the same time, and it's seriously like driving a different car. I didn't think a couple pieces of metal bolted onto the car could make such a huge difference, but the car now feels as solid as a hardtop. I'd notice a little cowl shake over train tracks, but now, nothing. I can safely say that it's the best $250 I've ever spent on mods to a car.

Thanks for the input, this is what everyone that gets these pieces says.
There are of course a few more suspension pieces to really make our car a terrific handling car and a joy to drive.

just got mine and installed it in no lie 15 minutes with nothing but a 1/4 drive ratchet and socket, quick test drive and its amazing!! Fits perfect with the 2.4na, just have to bend an ac line down a little, no biggie. Awesome product!m

Compliments again on this product. I've installed one on a local car and read all the reviews. A fantastic result and really a great price. The fact that you do all this for no profit for yourself makes it all the more impressive.

I should also emphasize if it was not for JOE and this forum I could not offer this product at all.
The SKY and Solstice forum have not been a good option for me.
I am sure other members that want to offer a product in small quantities to the membership at large, run into the same problem I did, when you are told to pay very large fees, in order to offer the product to the members of those forums.
Thanks again GJ and all other members that have purchase the LVKFCB.
Is comments like yours and from others that makes this task worth while.

It will not be able to fit Brazen17.
The V8 motor just sits a little to forward and it can not accommodate the LVKFCB.
You may want to ask Werks if theirs will fit a V8.
I know the DDM does not since YAMATR3 tried it on his conversion and DDM could not make it work.
I believe the hood clearance was the problem.
Not sure if DDM has made changes to their design to make it fit without having to alter the hood.

Well I have good news then, the fabricator surprised me today with a call.
He had build 5 more for me.
I had a conversation with him this last time and told him the 15 he made were pretty much sold, but I would like 5 more, although I did not have any commitments as of that day.
He said well you know the minimum is 10. I answered him yes I know, but it takes a while to get more members to sign up to get one.
I will take these 5 to the powder coating company on Monday.
I need to know colors if there are members wanting one of these, otherwise I will have 3 Silver and 2 Black powder coated.
