Added Solstice #2 to the driveway today!
« on: June 18, 2011, 07:15:28 PM »
Located a loaded, 2008 GXP, super low miles (8k), and brought it home. It had never seen rain, snow, nothing but sunshine and nice weather, that will change, now!

Let the modding begin, in earnest, while I work on getting Kenny back to normal. (and try not to steal too many things from him for the new one)

he's resting comfortably, until I suck it up and march him right back to the offending shop and "give them the opportunity" to correct what they fubar'd.

I had a list of a couple dozen that fit my criteria, #1, low miles, #2,  manual, and #3 not another 06. found two further away, both with under 500 miles, one, a Mean, had 101, and it was also an 08!

Well, I started calling him BoB yesterday at the dealer, just cuz he needed to be called something. Figured it was just temporary until I came up with something.
Well, on the way home, while trying to avoid anything resembling a highway, Mz Garmin advised a left on this road...the road was a short, bumpy, one and a half lane paved affair, with a twist in the middle...so we stopped to take a pic at the end of it..

BoB (make sure you spell it right  ;) ) is awesome!  And me...a tad bit jealous. Can't wait to be sitting on the front porch now when someone walks by and there are 3 Solstice sitting there!

Mod-us interrupt-us briefly, rain has stopped momentarily, back to the tasks at hand...secret to breaking the tulip panel screws loose to install the WR posts?? I remember now, the last time, back in 06, it was not easy...
