DDM powdercoated and installed my GM cold air intake. Dave also soldered my GMPP upgrade solenoids. That should eliminate the occasional pending trouble codes 0101 and 0106. It should also eliminate the DIC occasionally showing 0 boost.

Car will be coming back from the shop next week...fenders have been pulled out to accommodate the new larger wheels, Norm's side skirts have been molded into the body, new race bumper is on and painted...a few minor repairs left and painting the brake calipers to match my stripes.  Latin Venom chassis brace is installed as well.  I can not wait to get the car back...

so your having everything molded on more or less. The only issue I see as I have done this in the past that it might crack. Looking good tho..

Not everything...just the side skirts.  The rear bumper is one piece as well...much less maintenance and they did a fantastic job molding it.  The front splitter cant be molded because the front bumper is too flexible...a crack there is almost a definite.  Everything else is molded in:)  The fenders were pulled out about 1 inch...looks a touch wider than stock and like it was not even touched.  The new wheels are just gorgeous...very excited!

Spicy is the door open in your pics, or is that actually how the fender and rocker panels blend back into the door edge?

PS new avatar again?

The door was open bc they painted the entire side.  It blends right into the body, as if it came from the factory like that.

Someone kept logging into my account and changing it on me...I had to change the password and Joe changed it back to that one for me while we make sure my logon is secure again.  We are investigating.

Wow
I just thought it was someone messing with your avatar as a joke like we did with GJ.
This is not funny.  I hope you find the culprit.

Car looks awesome.  Can't wait to see the final product.

I don't believe they did...I think it stops right before the fender...it was faded in.

Thanks Elff....that's what I first thought as well, but only three people can actually change my avatar, and none of them did it.  It had to be someone getting into my account...we are investigating IP addresses now...maybe the culprit will come clean before we actually find out who it is.  It would be the more mature thing to do, but hey, maturity is asking a lot sometimes.

I too have to admit I thought that it was just done as a joke but when I mentioned it to Joe last weekend he said no he never messed with it which left me kind of wondering if maybe it had been that way for a while and you had just finally noticed.  I guess it wasn't, I had no idea someone was hacking your account.

I hope you find them and kick them off the forum if they are a member, I can say that knowing I didn't do it.

Any chance the ex knew your password?

I am thinking maybe, but I don't know if she would know what an avatar actually is and how to change it.  Why she would think changing my avatar is taking a shot at me...I don't know LOL.  I have other ideas who it might be as well, and if I find out, there will be a words outside of this forum.

I am thinking maybe, but I don't know if she would know what an avatar actually is and how to change it.

I see you only go for the brightest bulbs steve

Today I drove home something that made my kappa jealous:

Modified c6 with z51 handling package. Huge cam, full headers X pipe and exhaust with a tune. Kit claims 500bhp, but a dyno in arizona threw down 400whp in 115 arizona heat.

Most of you know what my car sounds like, you cant even hear it beside this vette.

So basically i am curious if we slap a quiet muffler on this if we will hurt the tune / motor. May require detune :( I will be calling dave this week.

miller11386, uh, you might of hurt it's feelings!  But what a sweet ride indeed!  Uh, if it is a secret ok, then I must not say more and don't mean to interlope but are you kidding me?  Ya gonna consider the purchase of that sweetheart?  I can't imagine in my wildest dreams having that car parked beside your 2008 Saturn Sky Redline in the garage?  However I must indeed disagree with you cause your present ride the 2008 Saturn Sky Redline will not be jealous in the least, cause these days they are rare and there are loads of Corvette's on every corner but yes it is a sweet ride for sure.  Are you thinking of adding the Vette as a stablemate for your gorgeous Sky Redline?

Working on my hood this weekend. Hood hinges were loose so trying to set the sweet spot for the gap to the door has been a pain. Then, when its was all lined up(settling with the gap) and tightened down, I found out my hood latch on the driver side is broken and won't lock in and my rubber stop ripped in half. Just when I think I'm so close to be on the road. Whamo!  :censor:

Steve - side skirts look good. The door shot looks like you are about to pass someone... and they lost a bumper too.
