I farted...yet again in my Kappa today

Careful smelly,  it's raining this morning.

Not real rain for those of you in other parts of the country, but for 4arty and I, it's a downpour and everyone is going to  crash.
Make the right choices now

Where are you in the San Diego area??? I'm in El Cajon just off the 8. Very rare seeing another Kappa. We should meet some time.

BTW, I'm curious.... do you really have a pet monkey???

That one was lame, but I couldn't find a good one on YouTube.  This is my favorite actually:

Yea, if you do a search, it's all detailed somewhere.
It is pretty amazing.  A driving typing monkey.

Got the extender for the O2 sensor today.  I will put it on sometime this weekend after I get the car on a local Dyno.
Been waiting to do this since last May.

An O2 extender was done with the Werks HF Cat as well. Hope that works with emissions folks whenever I get my yellow card. Dave assures me it will be fine.
I always wanted to be somebody when I grew up - I realize now that I should have been more specific!!

It will be.  It prevents the P0420 code from popping up and allows the readiness codes to complete for the states that check that.

Holy cow!

Had to repair my top and the tulip panel doors!

The bars of the top had been rubbing at the panel doors and so the paint has been heavily damaged.

I had to replace the electric tape on the bars by a special 3M adhesive foil and then I wrapped rubber around it (used  some wire straps for it).

A good advise for all of you, never try to dismount the panel doors on your own!!!

Dismounting will be no problem, but try to install them again and you will get crazy.

It's a pain in the a......

I lasted two days to tension these damned springs and there's not much place to do the job.
Lost one of the lock rings, AHHHHHHHHH

Came out and people were taking Pictures. One Guy said I was a little old to have a car like this. I ask him how old should I be he said about 25-30.Told him ,I don't even feel that old. then laughed .

6 and a half...and still going!  I think it likes being neglected! ;)

I thought I was gonna drive it this last week. Didn't happen. I looked at it while I moved stuff around and threw stuff out! :(
It's gonna die in Illinois or Asheville. Guaranteed!

Started my quick little project of making the stock vents functional and painting them black. This along with opening the front grill and the gills. Some pics of the vents off.

Woo Hoo!  It WORKS!

Here's a still from a test video this morning... I did a (very) temporary install and used a temp display screen to compare boost readings against my OBD-Ultragauge.  You can see here that the UG lags a bit (gauge reading 18-19PSI vs 17 on UG) due to slow update from the OBD port.  I did confirm over a number of test runs and vids, that the gauge is accurate.

Now I have to do all the cosmetic stuff and for-real installation.  Sigh.
