Well, I guess that is the ultimate test if our cars will survive rain with the.top down. I am impressed all the elictrical stuff works.  But it seems you are determined to be the rust queen!

Bobby, I did not realize the full story when you told me. You are lucky! Sorry luck costs so much!

Clay was really a good sport about the stump. He deserves his special prize.

Now, one problem. I am glad.to be back home with my family but I am already jonesing for a high speed run on those great mountain roads!

Damn I wish that run hadn't gotten pushed back! I missed a good one! :(
i prefer to call it the "rustice" at this point. Never have I seen so much rust on car on a "summer only" car

I'm not sure if you like that or Slostice better.

It was faster then his car for quite a while of late.  Now that he has the mice back in the hamster wheel at least his car is back to running.

Its nice to be driving again and i forgot how many people stare at it when you are going down the road

I have to do some logging and finish the clean up, but it was very nice to be able to drive top down on an beautiful evening. I forgot how nice it is just to be able to go take a cruise out 171 and lazily go through some twisties... haven't really got a chance to drive it hard yet because it needs a few repairs that were noticeable when i started to push the car. Hoping to get it on the rack later today.

Comp turbo I knew is broken, it was just a confirmation:

The problem is when WOT, after shifting in 3rd or 4th and it was high boosting at 26psi  it was getting into the huge misfires and car wasn't accelerating, I had to let it off the gas and than to get back on.

Replaced my power antenna mass.  Was lessening to a good tune on the radio. When I drove the Sol under my 4 post lift (Legacy GT was park on top) I forgot to put the power antenna down & snap   :slap: :slap: :censor: :censor:. I caught it on the edge of the ramp. This is the 2nd time & the last time. Next time I have to take the dash apart. I installing windshield mounted power ( signal boost) antenna.

could that be surge Kelu? it kinda feels like boost drops, you have to let off the gas to release some air and then it accelerates again until surge re occurs. surge could lead to a broken turbo too (at least)

This is where it happened , somewhere between the towns of Tazewell & Thompson Valley. Oh and on the other side of the G/rail it was around a 100ft Straight down  .I was lucky at least.

Gary,

In your video after you went around the corner do you say 'someone just wiped out'?  Looks like it caught everyone by suprise, no warning signs at all.

sorry to hear that. is everything under control? repairable?
i saw the video, that turn is dangerous, with the road providing limited time to react...  :(

and there was gravel on the road too so if you hit it you were going sideways.

I looked up in the mirror and just seen a car going sideways and bounce. I did not know that he had hit the guardrail at that time.  I tired to stop but it was a bit down the road before I could.

That's the problem with some sections around the Dragon.
The gravel has claimed more than it's fair share of cars.

Order a sheet of silver metallic vinyl.  My local graphic shop already drafted up a facsimile of the single OEM racing stripe.  Problem was the OEM was only available with the rear section stopping an inch or two before the coupes duck tail spoiler, since the length can now be customized plan is to have the rear section extending up, over, and down the duck tail spoiler about an inch or two, unlike the OEM that stopped an inch or two before it.

Washed and waxed yesterday and put the brighter led park/turn lights in the headlights. Picture is just with the parking lights on. Finally got that c6 look I wanted out of them.
