My scoop is very close to that blue car - maybe not as long and a little wider.  Height looks similar.   Hopefully finished photos this week.  Thanks for the post.

Would have done a cowl hood but thats just my tastes. Regardless that car is going to be rediculous.

Not sure how a cowl would look -- here is one that I would not want:

Incidentally, where did you find that first pic (from your last post).  It looks similar to a Breckland Beira - right down to the wheels, which is what I'm interested in.
They look a lot like Chrome Sky wheels to me....  :idk:
I sold my Chrome Sky set of wheels to a Solstice owner and I must say they look very nice on the Sol, Even better then the....

Sbindley - Very interesting thread.... Good luck with the ending of your built! Dieing to see what hood will surface...

I too am looking forward to seeing the beast. She's going to be sweet no matter what the hood looks like.

Yep, the ones on the Solbra DO look like chrome sky wheels.  Originally, there was another car pictured in that post.

Photos of hood with primer.  Very excited about how it came out.  Paint this week.

Looking good, subtle like you wanted.  Plus room for a ZR1 window or ZR1 vents if you decide to go wilder.  Norm might wanna take a mold from that  before it's painted.

UPDATE:

Car is running, hood and fender vents are installed, and Dave is tidying up some loose ends.  I should see the car in a week or two.  I think the hood came out well.

The hood looks okay. I think the angles of the scoop clash with the OEM hood lines. :2c:

I like the simplicity of it. I think some hoods are overdone.

I like it.  Are you driving it back from Werks or are they shipping it?

Yes, been too long.  I probably should have just done the LS3 and had it back last Sept, but something told me to go for something really unique.  I hope I don't regret it.  I am having it shipped back.  I'd hate to subject that newly painted hood to 1500 miles of rock chips and road grime.  Plus, I know this has been a mild winter, but can you imagine 600 hp on 275-35's in the snow???

Actually there hasn't really been any snow here so far but that's supposed to change tomorrow.  That's why I was asking as that would have been just bad timing.
