personally Steve, I wouldn't give the car to any random ebay buyer. Its just too nice. I would want to see it going to a good home.

No random buyer is going to be able to appreciate the mods on your car that doesn't know a solstice in stock form.

GLWS, I would hold off till spring drop top season comes.

Why pick and choose who gets the Car your selling . You can't be worried about how they will treat it .Time to move on and Not Baby sit the new Owner . I sold my 47 and the Guy made a Rat Rod out of it .I didn't like it But its not mine anymore. Sorry it didn't go the First time Steve.... just my

I am getting some offers from email now after the sale...so if it seems like a good person and the price is right, then I will do it...haven't done anything yet.

Pretty Standard Ebay sale. No one wants to pay the ebay fees and offers pour in after the fact.

Nothing...you only pay the fees if it sells. It's a great way to advertise, plus eBay lists is with a free report on the car....accidents, etc.

As awesome as it may be, you have to be careful. If ebay determines you are setting intentionally high reserves, or sale prices to circumvent the fees they will cancel your account and if you are in the US send you a well thought out letter from their lawyer friends.

In Steve's case, that's obviously not an issue.
And big deal if they do cancel your account. That's all they could do as they could never prove the other was done intentionally on a single auction.

It would be appreciated to get rid of the last few posts...to suggest I am asking a high price to circumvent fees is not respectful in my own thread to sell my car. I had offers higher than what my reserve even was.

Car is sold! It is being picked up at the end of the month. It will be staying with one of our members, but I will not say anything until it is complete and I have permission.

That's good it's going to a good home. I was kinda sad and happy at the sme time when I sold mine. Few months ago
