That pic was taken when the car was off, but it does not move 90 degrees when I start the engine.

There are 2 possibilities, either the vacuum line has a hole in it or has come off of the supercharger outlet manifold, or the canister is bad. To check, pull the vacuum line off of the supercharger outlet manifold and suck on it really hard, you should see the rod move. If not, that actuator has died and a new one will be on the way ;)

Critter, do you have any gauges to monitor yours?
I can't remember from when you let me drive it.

Us turbo guys have the DIC at least to monitor boost to a level.  I would bet that not working properly is messing up the boost and why you are feeling its off.

In an earlier post I mentioned that the silver disk has a threaded hole. Is there supposed to be a set screw in there? Because mine does not. What thread size is said set screw? I'll have to do your test when I get home.

That is just a spacer and does not need the set screw in it, I will look around and see if I have any extra set screws for that spacer. Let me know on the actuator itself if you need one, and we will need video proof ;)

Dave, Yes I have a digital vacumn/boast gauge and a AFR gauge.  Plus you can read boast off of the Dashhawk, if you have it set to that PID.

Nope, not yet. The bypass valve is indeed dead on my S/C. Dave is supposed to be sending me a new one.

Helios, the set screw in that spacer backed out on mine some time ago, I found a slightly longer one at Lowe's and put a small drop of blue Locktite on it to hold. I noticed with it loose the butterfly valve (bypass) shaft had some longitudal play causing the valve to not seat properly or close all the way.
