Isn't that one of the codes that pops up when there is a bad connection with the GMPP crimp connections?

Yes it is Tazz.

How are the gmpp traps wired?
If they are using the butt connectors, I would suggest removing them and soldering them together first.
Otherwise you could chase your tails for months like I did

Well this Thread started out about Wire connectors . Will check them Friday after work or Saturday morning. What is it that you clean the sensors with . I gased up Sunday morning and I think I grabed the regular Handle . would that make it throw a code?

(Girth) Thats around the Belly , I don't fish and only one tail But like an Elephant or Corvair or even a VW Bug.
Now whats that stuff called and I did put 87 oct in it.

The GMPP tune requires 91
I'd highly suggest that you get some octane booster before you start knocking.

Never tried it but I would think that since the standard GMPP tune can pull 8* dynamic and 12* RPM based he would still be OK as long as he doesnt go mashing the pedal.  The car would not have the power since it would be pulling timimg and the ECM adjust really quick but who knows.  Could be why he's throwing that code since it's limiting boost.

Good deal.

Do you have something you can clear the code with to make sure it stays away?

I use MAF cleaner for the MAF.  I've never cleaned the MAP sensors.

I have... same process as the MAF...

Step one, get electronics cleaner/MAF cleaner

Step two, remove sensor

Step three, Spray the unholy living  :censor: out of it... allow it to dry for a minute.

Step four, replace sensor.

Repeat process as deemed necessary

Could have been the gas.  I took my Solstice (GXP with GMPP tune) on a business trip to Virginia a few weeks ago.  Before heading home, I filled the gas tank with the "premium" gas available in VA - 92 Octane with some percentage of Ethanol.  Had a CEL and code all the way home (forget the code but it had something to do with the fuel system).  Filled up the tank when I reached NJ with the local premium which my car is used to drinking, 93 Octane and no Ethanol - CEL went out and no codes since.

Scott      I gased up sunday morning and didn't watch what I was doing. I put regular 87 or 89 in the car . Got6 an engine light yesterday . Last night I put a can of octane boost in and also found the gas cap was loose. But I'm going up the garage and checking the connectors on the GMPP sensors to see if they are soldered or Crimped. I got a can of sensor spray going to clean them while I'm at it .  Didn't do anything LOL

When travelling down to VA, NC, SC and TN look for exits with Shell Stations and use their 93.  It's considered top tier gas and if I can help it, its the only gas I put in my sky
