wire hunting

 Is there anybody that knows the wires in the windshield Header?


Is there a keyed hot wire in the windshield Header and what color?  I want to hook up a tach and warning light. I have hot wire from Battery & a ground,  and need a keyed hot and a wire for dimmer. I hope this can be understood .

If you're asking if there's accessory-switched power there, then no there's not. Sorry. You'll have to run a wire up from the BCM.

Yeah that's why when a lot of us installed a different rear view mirror and needed a switched 12 volt source, we had to run the extra wire.

Yep finished counting and was able to see the end of the Martinsville Race .
