i am reading mixed reviews about the gas caps..  some people say they do not fit well within the enclosure for them.  can anyone clarify.  i hate to purchase something to sit on a shelf.

msinawsk, well as I recall ours was installed I believe at the Denver 2009 NASSM along with the Red Probeam, and Red Race Backbone.  The sales slip dated 06-18-2009 just has the Probeam $175.00, Red Race Backbone $124.00 and install for both
$60.00 for a total of $359.00!  Now, it could have been the Nashville NASSM as well, don't seem to have the receipt handy but to get to your point, we have never had any problems with the Red Anodized and emblazened Gas Cap, fits fine easy to remove and much better built then the original and matches the MRZ Billet Covers but not having the receipt it may have been the Nashville NASSM.  In any event, never a problem and they look AWESOME!!!

Fitment is/was my concern too.  Seem to remember/think? if some gas caps aren't tightened correctly it can triggers a check engine code?  So basically I didn't want to deal with something I'd probably screw up or was responsible for.  Plus I like how the OEM gas cap has a strap so you can't drive off and leave it on top of the car or on top of a gas pump and the gas filler door has an inside clip so you can wedged it too while filling the tank and not dangling down to scratch the finish.  Yes I know, I'm that anal.

Sorry guys just saw this thread...is there still time to get in on this buy?   Don't have time to read the whole thing, so could someone fill me in on the price if I ordered a set of orange engine bay w/ the mobile 1 scheme and some trunk covers?  Much appreciated!
Hey all,
I'm currently away from home and trying to access the internet from the crappy wifi connection at my hotel is brutal :banghead:  Can someone tell me what the discounted price for a full set of orange engine bay covers w/ mobile 1 scheme and polished trunk covers would be.  Someone has got to have already figured it out with the discount.
Thanks!

I'm with you on this one.  I know I put down for a gas cap, but I'm really on the fence with it.

In looking at the engine cap pictures on the website, I'm not seeing a difference between the regular and anodized versions. The picture all look anodized aluminum?  Does someone have the non-anodized versions that can comment? So I would be engine covers and trunk covers at 212.40 plus shipping? Who do you use for shipping?

The non-anodized are plain polished silver-color.  Any of the colored ones are anodized.

Wondering did the 20% discount just apply to engine bay stuff?  Was hoping it was also going to apply to the truck and gas covers as well (yeah I'm cheap).

If you were that cheap you would just stick with OEM covers.

I sent MRZ an E-Mail about the Problem with the Gas cap. this is what Mat replied

 Hello,

The gas cap fits with no problem 99% of the time, the fitment between the cap and the gas door is very tight. we saw 1-2 user up to now that the cap interfered with the hinge of the gas door. Again this is very rare...

The billet gas cap fits right over the existing gas cap of the door so there is absolutely no incidence with a check engine light, this is still the same seal as before since the cap is the exact same thing but with a billet cover on top.

if you are not happy, it does not fit, or anything we will refund you the cap.

 Hope this helps
