That said, the Spec spacer is supposed to be used with a Spec flywheel, while no spacer for the stock flywheel IIRC. STILL not 100% sure what the true value of the Werks spacer is all about.

In the OP I mentioned it was the supplied spacer so yes it is the spec spacer.

WTF. I too was thinking the spacer was for the Spec flywheel due to it having a lower stack height than the OEM one but Spec told me they have two different spacers. It was sounding like BS to me.

I have the spacer on now so I'll measure the input shaft and try to figure it out.

Well I was able to get a measurement using the clutch alignment tool to compare against the input shaft. With the slave cylinder pushed all the way in, the both measure at exactly 4". This seems correct unless there is supposed to be some play between the slave cylinder and pressure plate
