Early build 2007 Bob. Monday is indeed the day that Superior Chevrolet takes the Eagle back to it's virgin status same as on December 27th 2006 when we drove the Eagle home from from the dealership with the top down and yes 31 degrees outside. Well, the Eagle was virgin then and will be again as Carol has spoken. It will take a while to get used to her, but I will just bide my time and go with the flow. Ron, if you have never had your early build '07 ECM reflashed, there are several updates in the software.
Had my ECMs updated in '09 for my early build '07.
This may be an out for being charged to have your ECM reflashed.
Updates:
1.#12610055 Main Operating System
2.#12625958 Engine Operation
3.#12623813 New calibration with diagnostic enhancements for DTC P0341 and improvements for fuel gauge accuracy.
4.#12614774 New calibration to correct speedometer and odometer inaccuracy.

If you check the TSB listing in the (NON PUBLIC) section there might be additional updates.

Just returned from Superior Chevrolet and Miss Red Eagle is good to go. Wow, the ECM is now flashed back to the original stock setting that she had when we took delivery. Runs great and the trip home from the dealer reminded me of the drive home way back on December 27th, 2006.

John, thanks. Well, to answer your question the Eagle is to go forward with the factory tune she had at time of delivery and now with the reflash she is back to where she was! Carol is happy with that and the new Solo Mach exhaust that was installed in Ashville, North Carolina is awesome and definately provides a freer flow. So, until further notice Miss Red Eagle is where she should be.

Bobby, yep, no more tune but the sound of the Mach exhaust is awesome! That may sound a bit odd from a member of this great forum who has always preached performance, but the time has come to settle down a bit, hey my reactions arn't what they used to be and you just have to go with the flow and also what Carol wants. Yes, the Eagle sounds glorious with the new Mach exhaust, a deeper rumble for sure. But after driving back from the dealer I was impressed with the new "Miss Red Eagle" without a Tune. It won't take to much time to get used to her and as I said before it has been a "hoot" driving the Eagle over the great years of ownership and meeting so many great friends on this forum. That will not change, just the Eagle who is back to the factory tune and doing just fine thank you!!!

See ya down the road Bobby, look forward to seeing you again and we had a blast at the North Caroline Meet. Hec, you are as young as you feel, as my wife says you get older but better. We are in our prime and enjoying every moment.
