Trunk Extension Mod Accomplished
« on: August 04, 2012, 12:45:31 PM »
This mod took all of 4 hours to accomplish.  The Sky has two trunk support brackets that I did not want to cut so I cut the side extension brackets to fit inside of the base of the support brackets.  The measurements of the trunk extension and side brackets are identical to 60's mod measurements with the exception of the width being 15" instead of 21" so as to fit inside of the Sky trunk support brackets.  The finished product isnt pretty with the amount of silicone that I used but considering that it will all be under carpet and it costed me substantially less as apposed to having it installed, Im extremely happy.

Did you make the box yourself, or have it done?  If the latter, ho much did it cost to have it fab'd (if you don't mind the question)?
