Crankshaft Verification Routine
« on: February 18, 2009, 06:58:35 PM »
Does anyone know how soon you have to get the crankshaft verification routine done after a new ECM? I bought one of the Werks ECMs and tune during their Xmas special and have a big run coming up. Is this something I just need to wait on until afterwords or do I have some time/miles to play with?

I would get it done sooner than later, It can affect your performace drastically.  A dashhawk will do it, takes about 5 minutes.

If it's the 2.0L turbo, it has the Bosch ECM, and you CAN NOT do a crank relearn, and do not NEED a crank relearn. ONLY the 2.4L engine would need a crank relearn
