I gave a file to Dave at the MM and he was going to look over it and get back to me with his thoughts/suggestions but I never heard anything back from him.

But to answer your question, I can try and make an effort to finish them up.

I by no means have been following this thread.. but poked around in here on the last few pages. I have two bits that might be of interest:

1) You don't have to buy a 3D printer, there are plenty of places out there you can send a file to and get them made. Also, there are "local" clubs across the country which can print files for you... Google is your friend here.

2) I have a set of the original recessed grills. They are raw, nothing done to them since I purchased them. Can this somehow help? I would think they could be scanned and printed instead of creating a new file.

The after shock grills had some fit issues which we hoped to avoid. The grills that I drew are based on actual GM CAD models so there should be no fit issue with the exception of the foam that needs to be removed.

DDM was supposed to be looking into reviewing the design and they know someone that can print them for us. I left this with Dave and just haven't heard anything back since then.

Long story short, I pulled up too close to a wall and snapped my Aftershock grills. Did more harm trying to repair them...

This post has been going on for almost two years. Maybe we can follow rlhammons suggestion to see if we can find someone else to print them. I know someone with an older 3D printer but he suggested the following site. He says they can use a combination of materials so we can have a chrome edge and black grille. If someone has the cad drawings, it might be worth uploading them to see what it would cost. We could probably get a quantity discount.

Oh I know all about that when doing some surfacing with some of the upcoming products we have in production, SW has a mind of its own sometimes and it is a crazy psycho messed up mind
