Finally got my Sky! - Pennsylvania

It took me 5 years of working on the wife, but I finally convinced her that I (we!) deserved a nice car:  2009 ruby red Sky Redline 12k miles.  Spoiler, leather, 6 disc Monsoon, upgraded wheels.

Ruby is completely stock, but now it is time to add a little pizazz!  I'll be checking in here with lots of questions, for sure.

Welcome to the forum. You're not far from Elff, you should meet up with him sometime and then you can see some of the mods that can be done to a Sky.  For that matter you need to make plans to attend the next Mod Meet at Deep Blue GXP's place.

And before the slowest Romanian drag racer sees you're new you might want to get some pictures posted up.

Congrats.  Assuming you have a manual transmission, we have almost identical cars.  For the price of the sensors and a drive I could hook you up with the GMPP upgrade, too!

Thanks for the warm welcome all!  I got my baby several months ago, but I've been too busy at work and coaching little tykes in football and wrestling to think much about her.  Plus, with the snow and salt on the roads, she's in the garage under wraps for the time being :(

Re: Elff.  Yes, I noticed from the skyroadster.com site that Elff is nearby, as well as at least one other skyroadster.com member.  I'll have to meet up with them sometime.

Josh:  Yes, mine is a manual as well (just added that to my sig).  Duh, I can't remember the simplist things anymore!  Very kind of you to offer the GMPP tune!  I hope to take you up on that...I just have a lot to learn first.  I know there are several different options available & I want to see what offers a good upgrade without risking the engine too much.

Re: Pictures.  I managed to upload a decent shot for my avatar on skyroadster, but this site seems to want a website(?) to load from rather than my hard drive.  I don't quite understand.  I have a number of other pix that I can upload once I figure out where there is an appropriate location!

dragon sky:  Must get a look at some more of those ruby red pix of yours!

I would have said hello sooner, but they have me working all sorts of long and crazy hours.  You dont want to ask what they make me do. Some nights i actually don't cry myself to sleep, but those are rare.  :(

I never heard of your town but after a quick google search see that you are just a hop and skip down the turnpike.

Its in South Carolina as DDM is adding all sorts of goodies

Congrats: It took me a couple of years DEMANDING (er, begging and whining) But I got my GXP! Your going to love it and EVERYONE here is very helpful! Good Luck, Oh yeah make sure you download the, how to jack your KAPPA before you get a sticker. If they jack to check ball joints, they don't usually know where to lift it from.
But good Luck and enjoy many miles of FUN!  I DO!  :drive: :yay:
