09 Solstice in Missouri
« on: March 05, 2019, 09:20:43 PM »
Hi,

On January 26, 2019 my wife and I bought a 2009 Solstice with 7,284 miles on the odometer. We are looking forward to Spring so we can enjoy the car. It's only been out of the garage a couple of times since we got it because of the crummy winter weather.

Welcome!

What are your maintenance plans?  With that low of mileage after 10 years, I would highly recommend completely swapping all your fluids so that you basically reset the car back to being nearly a new car (that comes with all new fluids).  Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, trans fluid, differential fluid.  Also consider your fuel may be expired, hopefully the tank is low and you can dilute it with fresh gas and maybe some techron fuel system cleaner.
2006 Solstice #1458, Twincharged LE5/LEA, 5757+M62, Werks exh manifold, Tial bpv/wg, Cams, dual meth, 40 PSI, Kappadapt clutch hose/flywheel bolts/trans mount, Aisin AR5, Stage 5 clutch
Turbo-only power 444whp/422wtrq

2013 Cruze Missile, tuned, 42 lb, ZZP SRI/FMIC/DP/MP/CB, Kappadapt trans mount
