Credit goes to the wife for the paint work.  She is a master at that.
Sadly we still have to do some wet sanding.   The imperfections are from tar and bugs not being cleaned off, vs rock chips.  We are hoping some we sanding will cut that back, but I may just get the hood and windshield resprayed and bail on the rest since it's still a rock crawler.  Still, you have to be within a couple of feet to notice the imperfections.

I am very impressed with the color.  It's really nice and changes depending on the light.  Here it is with some good light

This, plus 20 years?.
I would guess, if driven very carefully, 12-13mpg would be achievable.  But it can also melt off the tires and go nowhere for a while too. It?s really a stupid truck. And I have two of them now, and three overall. It?s not a good commuter car 😳.

It has both engines listed, so I wasn't sure if it applied to both.

As far as the jeep, it's not perfect, which is good, because if it was, I probably would not take it rock crawling.

Had my SwayLoc system arrive today. Will work on that this weekend.   Still waiting on the rear bumper, some replacement heim joints and new lug nuts.   A couple of them had the caps pop off, so I need 2 different socket sizes to change 2 tires.

I can't believe how much has been done to it in 3 weeks.  Man it's nice having a jeep again.

Drove my new Silverado Duramax I6 to Atlantic City NJ to trailer a boat back for a friend from church.  36.9mpg there.  20mpg on the way home towing.

20 towing, that is impressive.  How big was the boat?

So we did some vehicle re-arranging and now Monica is driving the following.

Crazy thing is, we "sold" our leased Ford Escape to this dealer with 9 payments remaining and used it to get a $4000 deposit.
So the used car market is still fairly insane.  I probably could have gotten a little more, but that was painless especially considering the complexity of paying off a lease and getting the title to give to a private seller.  More of just a delay, but who wants to fork over 5 digits worth of money on vehicle in which they don't immediately get the title?
Anyhow, here is the required picture

So that it's not too big for Elff.

Does the gas gauge arrow point in the correct direction?  I still smile when I think of that fool washing his interior window at the gas station.

Looks nice.

Compared the originals, yes,  but they are no where near as big as the F150's.
