Well, I just told my wife about this thread and she feels much better. She thought the squeek we have came from her driving the car into DC and was caused by the city's bumpy streets. I'll have to check with my local dealer to see if they can fix it.

I has taken two visits for most I have talked with including me, one to validate the problem exists and order parts, the second to install the parts. The dealer has to justify to GM tech support before they can order the parts. Is the way it was explained to me.

Anyone know if there is a TSB to cover the 08's?  I get the squeeks when its real cold.

My 08 squeaks, I was at the dealership on Monday with another vehicle, told the service writer of the problem with GXPsy, gave him a copy of the TSB and he said he'd have to check with the service manager to see if they could just order the parts or if I needed to bring GXPsy in to "verify" that the squeaks exist..    :lol:  I laugh, said whatever,.....so I went to the waiting area, drank some coffee & was reading my book and when he came to let me that my truck was done and said:  "I was told to go ahead and order the parts for you solstice that squeaks, we'll call when the parts are in"  I asked:  "oh I don't need to bring her in to demonstrate the squeaks?"  He said:  "the service manager comment was oh...okay, I know she doesn't bring her car in on a whim...it must squeak".  So hopefully she'll be de-squeaked by March 7th.   :thumbs:
