ARs of those 2 turbos? Compressor maps?

You went way too off for me with those 2 monstrous turbos, don't know about them.

ARs of those 2 turbine?

with the same 1.0 ar...........the 4088 will spool faster since it has a lighter and smaller compressor wheel compared to a 4094.

even with a smaller turbo like a GT 2860 vs 2871 (same ar).....2860 will have a faster response....due to the difference in compressor side

so pls, dont tell me that compressor side doesn't have any relevance to turbo spool/response.
All those factors, AR, turbine side, compressor side....will have an effect.

Im hoping that all those who bought the DDM 2871 kit will share more info like Steve did:  hpt logs, dyno graphs, etc.

Among all kappas, only DDM had shown dyno graphs.  It definitely showed the  midrange/top end power of this kit compared to k04 turbo.

The more info provided by other kit owners....the better for the community!  :)

I'm having mine Dyno'd next saturday.
Waiting to hear from DDM on their HP Tuner group thing.
HP Tuner won't let them do a group buy, but they have something else planned.

I will try and take some video when I have some time.  I don't think I can post logs because it is something that Dave and Lyndon might want to keep private.  I would have to get their permission first.

hmmmmm....... interesting.

I think that it would be logical if you don't post your actual tune since it supposed to be private.     But the  logs will be fine, since the tune is still protected from being copied.

But yeah, just to make sure, ask Wester/DDM for confirmation, just to make sure  :)

I will try to get some videos as well on my way to Canada or when I get a spare hand. Could be tricky though.

Assuming Dave is ok with it, I will also post logs when the HPT group buy goes through. However I think we are looking past the Ajax meet (July 17th) when all that will be finalized.

I've asked this in multiple threads and never gotten an answer.
If you have gauges or convenient SmartPhone apps,
What parameters should we be monitoring to make sure everything is working ok?
If possible, I know Knock
AFR?
Vacuum?
MAF?  Is this the Air Flow reading you posted Steve?  I'd like to see how mine compares.  I have not tweaked the tune since it was installed.
Suggestions?

One thing I would like to add is how the power comes on.  Depending on how you meter your right foot, it's either nice and smooth
or Holy Sh1T hold the F On!!!
You can really slam yourself back into the seat with this kit.   It's quite fun.

I have a dual aeroforce gauges.   Each gauge can show 2 parameters.

so basically the 4 parameters Im watching are:

KR
EGT (if you have a egt sensor kit).....or you can watch your CAT temp
AF
adv/ret

I have a seperate boost gauge, and I watch my coolant temp on the DIC.

I wish I have another aeroforce gauge, so I can see oil pressure and oil temp :)

aeroforce now offers EGT/pyrometer kit.......and can be hooked up on your dual aeroforce gauges! :)   If you're interested on that!

I'll be using this kit, to tune my project.

Antonio

I missed the one question.
I do have a 5 speed.

Thanks for the tips on what to monitor.
One of these days, I'd like to get the gauges as well, but Rev and Dashcommand do a pretty good job.

I knew I'd find more technical details here, rather than the BB. Add me to the list of people interested in seeing more numbers. I don't want to debate them. I would just like to compare them to where I'm at with my project at the moment. I believe we were in the same ballpark yesterday (39lbs/min) at 24psi. Now I know that it's not that far off from what others are getting.

Correction: 341HP/298TQ @ 24psi. Peak airflow of 41.6 lbs/min. Automatic Trans.
