Well that's one way to lock pole position.
Hopefully he does not have engine or transmission problems and that position holds.
Happily surprised by Giovanni
Happily surprised by MB being so low.   This is a great chance for Max to gain back some points.   But considering what happened in Qualifying will occur 1-5 times tomorrow.  Always interesting because of that.

Not sure what happened to Ricciardo.

Well the race wasn't very exciting, but a few things did happen:

Point leader change in driver and manufacture
No yellow flags or safety cars
Fastest lap set was a new record
Fastest average lap record - almost 100mph
If it wasn't for bad luck, Bottas wouldn't have any luck.

Next one in two weeks.

I am really surprised they went the entire race without a yellow or red flag.
I really didn't think MazaSpin was going to make it without crashing.

Hamilton was unhinged.  Especially after he lost out on the pits.

He sure was and that is one of the reasons I do not follow him, granted he is a great driver but he shows his true colors when things do not go his way.
I am glad Aston Martin perform very well specially Vettel holding 5th place.
Certainly like the podium mix but feel bad for Bottas.
Can wait for the next one in two weeks.

4 places he lost in that pit stop, two at the stop and two later when others stopped.  Perez on the other hand went from 8th to 4th.

Ferrari wanted that poll so bad they risked not running a car.

Bottas got screwed again in the pit.

Ham can suck it!  He knew how important quali is at Monaco and he boned it.  Too bad it wasn't his wheel nut that got cross threaded but this way he doesn't have anyone to blame but himself.

Good to see Noris on the podium.  It was nice to see the Gulf paint scheme on the car too.

No safety car who would have bet on that?

Anyone else think the Equality and Environment plug at the beginning of F1, especially in Monaco extremely hypocritical.

The entire sport is nothing but rich people using fossil fuels to travel the world.

Seriously, just shut the :censor:  up and stop Virtue Signaling.  We want to watch racing.

Yes thought the same thing.  Kind of like why are the cars hybrids?  As they all take their private jets around the world multiple times per year.

Rumor has it Bottas is out next year and Russel will be replacing him and signed a 2 year deal.

Lots of articles about this on the web but here is one
