HP Tuners 2.25 Beta
« on: June 12, 2014, 03:44:59 PM »
Just curious to know if anyone with an automatic trans has done any testing with the 2.25 beta release. I wouldn't expect that anyone has since it's only been out a couple of weeks but it doesn't hurt to ask or to make others (with slushboxes) aware that it is out. I have downloaded it and looked through the options for adjusting the transmission parameters but haven't changed anything yet.

What I do notice is that the TCM is most likely what's keeping me from hitting my updated rpm limits in the ECM tune as the "Full Throttle Shift Speeds" and "Full Throttle Shift RPM's" are lower than my limits set in the ECM tune file. I didn't raise them much in the ECM tune file but noticed that they didn't change anyways and now I "think" I know why.

If anyone has any experience with tuning the T68 TCM, I would appreciate hearing what you modified in the tune. Some of the areas look easy enough to adjust so I will probably end up experimenting with them as time allows while other areas are probably better off left alone or in the hands of an experienced professional.

I just downloaded this yesterday and I'm in no hurry to change anything in the trans just yet but may start to tinker next week after I get the Solo Mach exhaust installed. I'm starting to wonder if the upgrade bug will ever go away.... :)

Since this is a Beta version, it may currently only allow reading of the TCM which I've done so I might not even be able to make changes to it yet anyways.
