2.4 auto tranny vs. LNF auto tranny?
« on: August 06, 2014, 06:25:55 AM »
Is there a difference between the two?

Will the 2.4 auto tranny mate on the LNF?

Thanks!

Kinda interesting, they are actually pulling up as 2 different part numbers -

2.0L - 96043174
2.4L - 96043173

The 2.4L automatic transmission will bolt to a 2.0L engine though, not sure why they have 2 different part numbers though.
Hope that helps,
Dave

Yeah, I wonder if they're totally different, LNF tranny is a bit upgraded?

As always, thanks for the info you provided!

That's what I thought too.

So even though they are swappable, there's still some slight differences, and LNF unit is stronger. That's why they have different part numbers???

Probably a different torque converter between the two.
