FS: Smoothline Club Racer Hardtop (Deep blue)
« on: October 17, 2016, 09:30:07 PM »
For sale is a Smoothline Club Racer hardtop with the standard plexi rear window and the standard charcoal interior painted in blue to match my 2006 Deep.   It has been perfectly hardtop-ey and my single, favorite upgrade over the past five or six years.

$1000

Pick-up in Virginia Beach is ideal but we can probably work out some way to ship it or meet.

These are the best pictures I have with it on the car and can take more:

Does the trunk open with the hardtop on? Or does it attach where the soft top latches?

No, it attaches where the soft top latches.

It uses a single large wingnut inside and it's light enough that i'd just hit the release and tilt it forward on the windshield when i needed in and out of the trunk.

I had all sorts of plans of making one that either used one of my spare soft top frames or at least making the buttresses fold up like the soft top does for clearance but you know how that goes.

Boy do I. I have a hard top in the garage for my spare time to make one. Where did my spare time go!!! When I do I need to get smoothlines rear window. I'm at the point to just trying to make a top that can use the trunk but leave the soft top in there. 2017!!!

To be or not to be hard, that is the question. I prefer my top off and still hard when I need it.
