Mike you missed the close to 5 hour tune session on Saturday. My car then got the BTF wheel installed on Sunday and Randy fromm DDM use the info from that session to tune my car.
I was hoping you would come by on Sunday but you did not.

No, the shop was only open so we could do the install.
Randy use the tune info from the night before to do my tune, but it was not done on the Dyno, him and Dave drove the car and did the tune that way.
However the car has been transform into a completely different car.

Your car is probably within 95% of the other anyway.  We'll have to get together and go for a ride.

Maybe it's just me, but if I was a tuner and you had someone else tune your car and came back to me to finish it, it wouldn't be free.

Unless of course we had talked before and I had asked you to get all the data from the new set up and send it to me.

Yes to both or just the sensors.
Did he get an Upgrade Turbo Wheel from BFT?. I know BTF and him were exchanging info but I thought he never got the actual upgraded turbo.

So,
Is this the correct train of thought?
Get GM tune and sensors including flash
get KO4+
Have Lyndon retune

Yes you can do it that way but you probably wouldnt want to run on the KO4+ too long before getting it retuned by westers (have the tune file ready for when you install your KO4+, just upload via hptuners)

-OR-

Get westers tune first
Get GMPP kit and get free retune from westers
Get KO4+ and get free retune from westers

-or-

Westers
KO4+ & update
GMPP Kit & Upgrade

You get the idea.  It's great to recieve free updates for life whenever you choose to add/remove a mod :)

Would it be feasable to run a twin k04 setup on an inline four?  I really like the quick spool up of our turbo it just runs out of gas too soon!

ebeacham, do you have a tune yet?  It may be cheaper to install a larger turbo that do a twin set up.

the ko4+ doesnt add much lag, when it spools and you feel and hear it come in....worth the partial sec you have to wait.

cant wait till the slow melts away in the north!

If you can find someone local who is really good a meth injection, I don't mean an off the shelf kit there is a lot of power available from meth injection, the better kits are up over $800 but can make some serious power if done right. They will require some serious dyno time and a good tuner or very good feedback to Lyndon. Not the easiest way to go but it's an option. I am going to try and off the shelf kit and see what I get. I have already read up on the better kits and know the weak links, most the inexpensive kits use pumps from RV water systems, a good meth pump runs about $600 for just the pump.
