Timing Chain and more
« on: March 27, 2022, 11:13:29 AM »
I've recently developed an exhaust leak in my GXP. Upon visual investigation also spotted an oil leak that seems to be coming from the front of the engine. So "Stella" is going under the knife next week for exhaust gaskets, water pump, possible turbo replace/rebuild, timing chain and guides along with motor mounts. So the question for the brain trust is this, is there anything else that needs to be addressed while we are this deep in the engine ? Also what would your recommendations on turbo replacement be ? I'm not a big tuner but not a bone stock guy either, I'm just trying to think about the future. Any thoughts are appreciated.
