At this point i'm looking at spending an additional $16 per tank to get a 93 octane mix.

Are there any good boosters out there that may run $10 per bottle that i can add to a tank of gas to bump it up to 93 octane?

That NOS stuff is $10.95 but only up to 7 points so...i'd go from 91 to 91.7 minimum...not enough :(

Most octane boosters are crap, but there are a few that work, none that I know of will add much more than a point or 2 at most unless you talk about toluene.
Toulene
R+M/2...114
Cost...$4.50/gal

wow, I cant believe I overlooked this.   Where were you able to find Toulene for $4.50/gallon???

The NOS is the best additive other than Torco, move the decimal point it is good for a minimum of 2 full points, so 91 will be 93, more likely will be in the 95 range, I have used it it works very well but is expensive

What do you mean move the decimal point?  Which product are you referring to that is good for a minimum of 2 full points?

6 quarts of Torco Gasoline Accelerator is $125.70, which is $20.95 per quart.
The website says to add 1 quart to 10 gallon of 91 octane to make a good 102 octane mix.
I only need to go from 91 octane to 93 octane, so I might get away with only adding 8-10oz of Torco to 13 gallon of 91 to make 93 octane mix, which brings my cost down to an additional $10 per tank instead of $16 per tank if I use xylene.
I've sent them an email to see how much they suggest I add to achieve a 93 octane mix.

Also lil goat, where did you see toulene at 4.50/gallon??

I have not found the Toulene anywhere yet, buy supposedly that is what it costs from a Chemical supply house. The NOS Race like I said above adds, 60 points or 6 Ron to 87 octane. It was tested and shown to add 2 Ron, or 20 points to 93. I used it in a road rally this weekend, I could tell the difference. I kept spinning the tires in the rain when I got in it, running 80 in 4th in the pouring rain and hit the power I would spin the tires, not very fun but it was working. The best bet is just order some racing gas from VP Racing or Sunoco GT Plus, they deliver. Toluene or Xylene are not advised for high reving engines, they burn to slowly. I will use NOS Race again until I get some race gas, but I am going to split a 55 gallon drum with a friend of mine with a shop.
