Well I just completed evo phase one and two this weekend in Cincinnati Ohio,it was great,I had a good time every one was great. The only thing is I think the bug has bitten. Now I need to get a new set of tires and I am looking for help.I would like to get a tire that I can drive on the street and auto cross with .Just starting out I do not want to buy a set of rims a a set of hoosiers until I have a few meets under my belt. Not concerned about snow or rain just a good sicky tire that I can drive on the twisties and to the meet. Thanks for the help or advice in advance!

There are a lot of 140 grade tires (Nitto, Bridgestone, Toyo, etc.) that the people in the ST classes use. You may want to register on sccaforums.com and ask the question. You should receive plenty of input. Also, TireRack can help you as well.

p.s. With plenty of money spent on Pahses 1 and 2 as well as quite a few Challenges there is no doubt that Evo is fantastic. I have an Evo stocker on my windshield that pronounces "NOW I SUCK LESS". LOVE it.

I have done the perusing on those forums and I keep coming up with 5 Tires that are very popular by the masses
[Not necessarily in this order]
Bridgestone RE-01Rs
Toyo Proxes R1R
Dunlop Z1 Sport Direzzas
Falken Azenis
Yokohama Neova's

Most people think the Falken's are number 5 in this list, and the Toyo is getting pluses for it's wet weather handling.
I think alot of people think the RE-01Rs are best but they are significantly more expensive.

Lots of people like the Dunlops and the price is very good.

Hope that helps a little
