Kenny's GMPP Turbo Upgrade Dyno Results
« on: May 02, 2009, 01:53:28 PM »
Just got back from the same shop, same dyno

Here is a link to my stock results: http://KappaPerformance.com/index.php?topic=1482.0

Joe, here is a link to the dyno files: (for everyone who went to this dyno day) http://idisk.me.com/kennysabarese/Public/JerseyRoadsterDynoFilesMay2.zip

Here are my new results

Dyno Run 4
Standard
RPM = 1.68
STD Max Horsepower: 254.3
STD Max Torque: 277.3

Dyno Run 5
Standard
RPM = 1.68
STD Max Horsepower: 264.8
STD Max Torque: 318.2

Compared to my stock numbers:

Dyno Run 3
Standard
RPM = 1.86
STD Max Horsepower: 246.3
STD Max Torque: 261.2

It's a little strange that the two pulls were so different. Also I was not getting full boost on the way home. Think it was because of the weather. I went around 10am and my nearest weather station is EWR in Newark.

Here are the graphs:

BEFORE (stock)

AFTER (GMPP)

Awesome numbers!

You are right, it's odd that they are that different but I'm sure someone on the forum will be able to explain why.

Kudos to you and enjoy the ride!

Good for almost a 20 HP Gain.  I'll check the files against WinPeP when I get home tonight.

I looked at your files today and your dyno shop provided no correction at all.  This give you false higher numbers.  Dyno Jets correction factor should be SAE smoothing 5.  I applied the settings your graphs and this is the results.  All 4 of your runs are on one graph.
