MBRP exhaust
« on: May 09, 2009, 11:35:30 AM »
Anyone here have one or ever seen/heard one in person?  I'm sure SOLO is the way to go, but something about the MBRP system really speaks to me.  Specifically, I guess it's the carbon fiber cans - ricey as that may seem.  I had a GSX-R 750 when I first got married that had a full yoshimura exhaust on it with a carbon fiber muffler.  Maybe I'm just trying to recapture my youth :idk:

So anyway, I'm looking for opinions...  fire away   :D

I assume that you have seen this video? I feel that Solo is the way to go but different strokes for different folks.

Yes, I've seen that one and a couple others.  There's two of Craig's Car on the dyno in their shop that sound pretty wicked to me.  Could just be the acoustics of the shop helping out, though.  WS6GXP posted a couple on the BB when he installed his that he bought from another forum member used as well.

I'm sure I'll get to hear plenty of solo exhausts at the meet.  Just was hoping to be able to hear an MBRP before I make a decision.  Ultimately, I'd like to do custom system with the MBRP mufflers center-exit through one of Norm's facias (probably with the diffuser section, since the carbon fiber is already kind of ricey ;) )
