I really like this hood and yes it does bring back old Pontiac design thoughts. Three questionsare important to me...
1. Sorry to say I have very serious back prolems and just can't do any lifting or twisting anymore so will this hood fit properly without having to be trimed to fit? If so then only a couple hours max would be needed to swap the OEM hood and this one saving a lot of money for me and could be done at a local body shop.
2. If number 1 above is true then can I order the hood painted in the 07 SLY color and clear coat?
3. If above are true can I have it shipped to a body shop and save  some on shipping? Believe in some cases shipping to a buisness is cheaper than to a residence.

Many thanks
Chuck

Hello and thankyou for the nice comments, yes on all three of your questions. We prefit the hood to one of our cars here. Ive sent out a couple already with no issues of fit, what I need to know is if you have a GXP or NA as the air box that sits on the car is different from side to side. Painting we can do here as we only charge what it costs us to paint, remember your not only painting the top with clear coat then color sanding to buffing, but painting the underneath also. My only concern is that I wont be able to have it completed before we go the Nationals in a week from now, though we could have it in process. Thanks again Norm www.normsfiberglass.com 574-255-7843

I have pulled the trigger...my Formula hood is under construction at the moment.  I will be painting the heat extractors a dark red to follow with my stripes scheme already on the car.  I am very excited.

Norm still has a sense of humor  LOL.  I do think it looks good with the stripes.  I think it helps camouflage the intakes a little.  I'm sure you'll be happy with it Steve.

Yea I am excited.  I always like to try new things, and it will definitely make the car unique.  I think with the red stripes and the black color, the very little I didn't like about the hood will be pretty much hidden.  I figured it wouldn't be too extreme, considering that I already have his fenders, side skirts, splitter, and rear fascia.  I guess this is just another part of the body kit which completes it.

As I said I love the hood, but your lip with the hood. IMO the lip looks out of pace.

Norm, or Spicy....can someone please post a photo of what the hood looks like underneath once installed on a car. As my car usually has the hood up during car shows, just curious as to the appearance. I am also considering a having a mural painted on the underneath side similar to some of the hood liner murals I have seen.

Norm...I am just about ready to pull the trigger and order one. Hopefully in the next month!!!!

My underside is a bit different.  It usually comes with the ram-air box, but I had mine removed because I already have ram-air from DDM and it would not fit with their ram-air box.  Norm could send you a more accurate picture.
