I and Carol took a little rocket ride to Lawrence today!  I mean to tell you, all I can say is since this tune, this car has changed personality completely.  After reviewing all the comments, I believe 48 of them on this thread, I at first, initially had some feeling of guilt, but, everytime I have had "Miss Red Eagle" out she has taken my breath away.  I know it's hard for all the members of this forum that have the Lyndon Wester Tune to acknowledge that other tunes are out there.  Well, for all intents and purposes I thought I would end up with Lyndon's Tune, as well.

But, the fates of chance didn't work out that way.  I have a tune by Martin and I am loving it.  Everytime I take it out, and it has been plenty since getting back in Kansas, I have been surprised by more with this Tune.  I believe it is learning because it feels more responsive and powerful now, today, then it did yesterday.  Anyway, I have received more E-mails from those that have it and from those that do not, and I am still learning about my new Pontiac Solstice GXP.  To me, it has been transformed, like in the movie "Transformers".

I have never driven a Kappa tuned by Lyndon Wester, but look forward to having the pleisure of doing so!  If it is better than what I have with Martin, then I guess that I might decide to add a Tune from Lyndon Wester and have the flexibility to go back and forth.  Shoot, it might be the only Kappa on the forums that have Performance Tunes from each Tuner on the same Kappa.  You say, I'm crazy.  You only go around once in this life.  If a fella decides he wants two tunes and is bull headed enought to follow through, what the hay, might as well have fun doing it!  Just my :2c:

I sent an E-mail to Curtis (GO_DRVN) earlier today, waiting for a response from him.  Anyway, this epistle is getting way to long.  See you down the Road!  I am not looking Back, only forward.

Just got a response back from Curtis.  We are good to go with a Mini Meet and Dinner of the Kansas City group on July 11th.  It should be a good time for all attending.  I can't wait to see everyone again!

I just wanted to say that when I arrived at Nats, and went back out to the parking lot to clean the road grime off of the pure, as people walked by without saying anything, or even a nod or wave, Ron came over, introduced himself and started talking with me like we were old friends.  When he found out that I already had the Backbone installed and was getting the ProBeam the following day, he asked my opinion about the handling difference and then asked if I would speak to his lovely wife about them.  Carol came over, and I gladly made my recommendations for both the Backbone and ProBeam.  She then asked if the Wind Restrictor really helped because she cut her hair shorter before the trip so it would be more manageable since the top would be down.  :)

Thursday, while others were on runs and doing other things, you, santiago and myself spent most of the day in the vendor area having mods done to our cars.  You were like a little school boy in a candy store with a $20 bill in his pocket and just beaming!   After the installs by DDM, Carol came over to me and said that she wanted you to have those things, and that she wanted the Wind Restrictor and was getting one!    :yay:

You stated in another post about the best thing you had done was.... and I don't remember what it was, but I disagree with whatever it was because the best thing you had done was to marry your wonderful wife!!   :woohoo:   You are an awesome couple and I am honored to have met you first upon arrival at the Nats!     Be blessed and take care!  Enjoy the eagle  :brnout: and hopefully I'll see you next year in Ohio!

I missed seeing you to add that Tejas plate even though an exchange was forgotten.
Hope you can make it to NC for some of the runs.
Ron, nice to meet you and the offer still stands. :brnout:

Thanks Midlife Crisis for your solid advice and certainly for your very nice remarks about my lovely and beautiful wife Carol.  You are a beautiful young lady both inwardly and outwardly.  Your advice to us was most timely.  In fact your recommendation to get the Race Backbone and Pro Beam by DDMWorks made the difference in my being able to add these two awsome additions to "Miss Red Eagle".  Thanks again for your timely and informative advice.  We both appreciate your kindness and yes, we plan to meet up with you when the Ohio Nationals take place.  Safe journeys always along the road of life.  GXPinKC and Mrs GXPinKC.

DuckSol, nice to meet you , and nothing could be finer than to meet you in the great state of North Carolina, the home of the North Carolina Tarheels.  We both look forward to a trip up your way to once again visit your wonderful state.  I do believe that Carolina BBQ is every bit as good as Kansas City BBQ.  See you down the road.  Good luck to your great North Carolina Tar Heels.

Ron and Carol, and Miss Red Eagle.
