UPDATE:  We walked 20 minutes around the neighborhood today   :yay:
And just ask DBG, we do NOT have flat roads.
Our biggest choice at the end of our driveway was:
1. Do we start up the hill & end going down the hill or
2. Do we start down the hill & end going up the hill

We chose to start up the hill.

We're headed back out to the drive way now, to uncover the GXPsy, Rogue & GTO, let Jeff sit in the driver's seats & start up the engines, but not go any where....I'm such a tease
He can play like a little kid and just rev up the engines

UPDATE - Rogue here this AM. Alive, and doing very well. I visited the cardiac surgeon earlier this week. The good news - I was cleared to start driving again. Limited local driving, but driving! WooHoo!!!! The bad news - we had started an exhaust upgrade on Rogue just before all this happened, and although I can drive, Rogue is still disassembled and I haven't been cleared to do grunt work. Arrggghhhh. Pat (GXPsy) is a competent mechanic in her own right and will do what she can to get the system install finished. We'll keep you posted on how that goes, but hopefully by Sat PM I'll be able to drive Rogue through the 500 mile barrier (he has 493 miles on the odometer right now).

Thank you all for the kind words and support. And special thanks to Pat. She has been an angel through this whole ordeal. I am a fortunate man to have her around.

The chest sensations vary from hour to hour, day to day, but there is no significant discomfort - just the fleeting "don't do that" when I try to do something stupid. I'm still having to sleep on my back. Trying to sleep on my left or right sides gets uncomfortable pretty quickly, especially the left side. I also find out pretty quickly if I try to reach for something that is still outside my range of motion. Pushing, or pulling tells me immediately to STOP! I've been walking a lot...up to 1 hr at a time, which has helped clear a lot of trash out of my lungs. My first cardiac excercise class is scheduled for this afternoon. I'm looking forward to what they have to teach me.

Photos of Pat doing the wrench (wench?) work will be posted as soon as the work is finished. To expand on the repair issue a bit...we were installing the Solo Mach Shorty exhaust along with their high flow cat. One of the OEM turbo-to-cat nuts did not want to release. We finally got it off, but it had pulled some threads - apparently cross-threaded from the factory. It could not be rethreaded on the car, and I didn't want to dismantle the entire turbo assembly, so we opted to replace the stud. The stud was also cross-threaded in the turbo flange. Major PIA to remove/replace. We found a 10MM stud puller that worked beautifully, then we rethreaded the flange and got a new stud installed. Now we are ready to start the reassembly process.

We will photo document the installation, so all of you can see that Pat is far more than just Autocross winning arm candy!

I like that "we" stuff.  :poke: It was I who had to disassemble the newly installed exhaust from the Hi-flow cat, remove the stud (and not much throw available to do so), very tedeious work I might add, 1/4 throw, 1/4 throw,  back, 1/4 throw etc. I was under Rogue (the car...unfortunately  ;)) last evening, re-installing the Hi-flow cat, re-attaching the exhaust to be tightened up later today after I get home from work.     I see  :drag: solster in the near future.   :yay:

Jeff, glad all is going well, and it sure is nice to have someone that is handy with a wrench to help out when you can't do for yourself. Never had them crack my chest, but I just had my 4th vertebrae in my neck fused on the 23rd. I find that my range of motion in my neck has really gone to heck in a hand basket this time. I started driving the wife's Equinox again yesterday, but I have to wait another week or so to start driving the Sky. Way too much power and torque and I would hate for something to go SNAP at the wrong time. Heal well, and tell the mechanic she's doing a great job.

Thought I noticed that lack of movement at Mecca DBG. 5, 6 & 7 in 1990, 4 & 5 10 days ago. Hope this fusion works as well as the last one.

The camera actually wasn't too bad, 'course I had to "click" quickly before my arm strength gave out! And Pat did do an amazingly good job. Removing the bad stud was very labor intense, and required trying several different tools (we now have a nice collection of stud extractors) until we found the right one for her. Regarding Pam being a zipper club member...I showed you mine, it only seems fair...
