Please bring charcoal perforated alacantra for the console and pad.  I will get you the dimensions (it will not be the entire console; just a trapezoidal piece, for in back of the shifter handle) tomorrow.

Ok, we should have plenty with us.

I'll have to see how easily the stuff sews through.  The machine might make a mess of it.  With the diamond pattern, it will be all over the place.

OK I will order that for the meet...you can install that while you have the car partly apart...if anything it will kill some drone and make the speakers sound better.  If it won't, then someone let me know so I don't waste the money.

Joe, you will be setting up and working out of the garage by the cabin.  If you have any extra tripod lights bring it.  I have one tripod light.  I spoke to the GAHH company and they are mailing me a few samples.

Hey Joe,

I was wondering if we could finish my steering wheel and get the airbag covered in black alcantara as well, since we couldn't get it together in Gerogia.  I also want to talk about changing out the padding in my center console to the more dense foam you used in teh door panels.  We can talk at the meet, I'll just bring cash!  Thanks.

Not a problem.  Shouldn't take too long for the airbag.

BTW, goat is bringing some sort of gel insert we'll be prototyping arm pads with.  Might want to jump in on that wagon if you want.

Joe -- I think am coming down Friday.  Have a car show for wounded vets at Walter Reed Saturday, and an SCCA Solo event at FedEx Sunday, so cannot make those days.

I will PM you dimensions for the rear trans tunnel pad trapezoid (for the FFR Daytona Coupe) tonight.  You can pre-cut the base stock, or do it at the mod meet, your choice, but I'd like the spiffy Goat gel stuff, and charcoal perforated alacantra. Self adhesive 3M tape should stick the thing to powder coated aluminum, right?

Is that OK?  Please let me know.

OK.  Got the measurements.  Piece needs to be 91/2" long.  Top (wide) edge of the trapezoid is 97/8", tapering to bottom edge of 9".  Weather depending, I may not have the FFR coupe with me, so I am giving you these measurements here.  Thanks!

Sounds like Mr. Morfious might be another candidate for the Goat gel, I am not the only one who wants dense foam (IE gel) to match my head. I was thinking put some of the sound deadener under it is really dense and should add a little weight to the console cover, I have a big sheet left over from my doors.
