yes, there is 4, sorry about that, going off of memory and confused with another ecotec we are tuning here.

Let me know if that does not do it, because I believe the purple wire is actually the signal from the ECM for Coil pack #1, and if you are still having problems I can pull out the manual and check, but usually we just clamp around all 4 wires and it works.

By the way, what other supporting mods do you have done?

Yeah I think we know that.
I don't think either of us is trying to nag at him.
I think all of us are just as anxious as he is about the results.

Sorry I did not respond sooner. but, I am a dad and a husband too. :)

Hey all...Thanks for checking in. It was a blast! Everyone was great and very helpful.

Anyway, I see I made a few blunders on my previous posts. Here is how it finished...

284.6whp. @ 338.6lbs torque @ 26lbs of boost.

After that (As Dave from DDM said)...you have to get a bigger turbo!

If we were doing this in a cooler climate it would have hit 300whp. It was 91 degrees and humid today.

In a month I will be going back to see how this tune is doing. Everyone is saying 300whp or more will be had with cooler temps and a few pulls under it's belt.

It was fun and a great learning experience.

Randy & Dave:
You both tune my car on the streets of Orlando, my car as you know ONLY has the Big Wheel, a K&N filter and the rest is stock.
I am sure you must have my tune in your laptop and could say what you accomplish that day.
It seems you guys have made a lot of progress since my tune, it would be nice to get and update using your newer tune.

hey Guys
CJ here and i am the Trifecta dealer that worked with Bryan on the dyno tune to day at Jotechracing in Garland, TX. They have a great shop and did a first good job. Thanks Kenny.  the first tune dyno was 256 whp and we didnt have the torque and took 3 data logs/dynos and 2 more  tunes and Vince had Bryan dialed in.

if you look at the 80% humidity and the 90 degree temps and the shop was hot, these were pretty good numbers.
Plus i told Bryan it takes 70 to 100 miles for the ECM to really take it all in and the tune should get better and better and w a 20 degree drop and get the humidity down to 35 to 45, his Soltice should start really kickin some major butt.
plus the air moving over the intercooler was not that cool.

i love doing new things and have gotten to tune some cool vehicles w Vince, from Silverados, Tahoe, Denalli, couple LS balts w M62s, a 2.4 balt w a blower and now i am about to put a blower on my 06 HHR 2.2. alot of balt SS/TCs and several HHR SS/TC's

i was hoping to get to do a Soltice and for me this was great.
Thanks Bryan for the chance

280whp is great for 90 degrees and 80% humidity!! Other than the exhaust, what other mods do you have? Also, where did you get this done? Lastly, how much did it cost?

Seems like the hp barely drops near the redline, you have an easy 50-70 more rwhp than the westers tune at the top. Wish the rpm readout was working though.

Yea that graph is nothing like any other kappa, tuned or stock.

me likey!

the "Max power" on the graph doesn't say 286. is there a reason for that?

The graph looks different because it is a horsepower/speed graph, two third gear runs and one fourth gear run. The reason it doesn't sat 286 is that the graph didn't hit that power level. At least, that is what it all LOOKS like.

I want WinPep files, I love collecting them for comparison. Do all dyno's use the same file format for the data? Or does each have it's own?
