T2TR 2009
« on: December 23, 2008, 06:48:16 PM »
Contact Druid-2 or post and I will get answers for you.....

We are pleased to announce the dates for T2TR- IV

April 30th (Thursday arrivals) thru Sunday May 3rd (departures)

Runs will be Friday May 1st, 2009 (the NEO SOS run)
and Saturday May 2nd, 2009 (the full T2TR-IV run)

HAMPTON INN has a Longaberger (FBH) tour already reserving rooms for the Friday night.....so we already have an accomodation issue

Succinctly the Hampton will give us 40 rooms for Thursday and Saturday...but only 27 for the Friday night. That means one of two things.....either there is a bunch of doubling-up for Friday night...or some people will have to check out...use the Ghetto (Super 8) Friday night and then check back in again for Saturday. The 3rd alternative is some people may simply wish to use the Schoenbrunn Inn in New Philadelphia (15 miles up the road) for all 3 nights...or the Ghetto for all 3 nights...it's your choice !!!

The rooms are reserved at the Hampton only ( $71.99 a night + tax) and a block has been held at the Schoenbrunn also.

Reservation code is NEO Kappa Car Club at both locations

Here are the phone numbers

HAMPTON INN 740-498-9800
SUPER 8 740-498-4116
SCHOENBRUNN 330-339-4334

Thursday night's dinner will be at DICK'S PLACE...(I'm sure Coop will be taking orders for shirts in the spring)
Friday night MAY be at the Warehouse- if the service is better
Saturday banquet will be at the Raven's Glen Winery agin.

These are the basic details.....

Hope you've got good tires!  And you like roller coasters ..... Wheeeeeeee!

Watch out for buzzards though .... Yikes!  Those suckers take *forever* to get off the ground!  :gaah:

Suggest that if you're not a "wild man" behind the wheel (very aggressive driver) that you go with a middling group - at least your first time.

Be alert at ALL times ... there are places you just don't know which way the road is going to take you!
Just here to help a friend!

Was just wondering who all are planning on joining us for a little 555?  I wouldnt miss it as last year was my first run on 555 and let me tell ya that the Dragon which is flat twisties with a little hill, 555 is very steep hilly twisties with blind turns at the top of the hills....   :gaah: This is a great run..... 2 totally different roads and both extreme.....

Kim, I believe that once you fill in the registration form and click submit registration it pops you into another screen which then takes the payment information, which is where the paypal is.

ok, all you drivers,  :brnout: listen on up....This will be our FOURTH year!!!  (If you count the original SOS in 2006).  Ya gotta pay attention......  Great Roads and Great Fun!  Watch what you eat and drink before hand and dramamine for navigators is NOT frowned upon here......  And by the way...a great group of kappa people congregate annually for this......BE THERE
