Halloween Party on....um....Halloween
« on: September 26, 2009, 07:33:25 PM »
The crowds have spoken and we have listened.
Just announced by Microsoft
Listed by CNN as the Best Party Eva
Your Mom's Sister's Cousin's Nephew's Aunt's Friend's Fiancee's Dog is speaking about it
Endorsed by not only the Democratic Party and the Republican party, but also the Libertarian, Anarchists and even the Group Anonymous.
So much fun, it killed the tough Kennedy
and to be assured this party didn't steal their Spotlight,
the Jackson's finally buried Michael.

What: Costume Party
When: Saturday, October 31st 2009 8pm - Whenever
Who: Everyone on this email and their Significant others.
Where: CASA de ELFF + KITTYMINI
Why: To Celebrate Paganism and Alcoholism in all it's glory [Do you really NEED a reason to dress up and drink?]
Requirements: Costume and your Alcohol of choice.

I'll make sure we have a good sampling of snacks, mixers and beer.

Be there, or be Square

We are located about 40 minutes SW of Philadelphia.  If you want to attend, please PM me and I will give you my exact address and help you with directions and if you are not local, give you a list of local hotels.

It's always a good time, and if Joe is crazy enough to allow a bunch of us to play at his house, I figured I could do the same thing.

Ok, that is . . . . strange.  You march to a different drummer, for sure.

Not really.
Dr. Octagonapus is a parody on Dr. Octopus aka Dr. Otto Octavius, aka Octavio from Marvel Comics. A villain in his own right and arch rival of Spiderman.
Dr. Octavius predates Godzilla with 'Lazar' beams and death rays being a theme from the 30's.

Yeah.  Ok. I got that.

But the juxtaposition of Dr. Octopus and laser beams with 300, about the last stand of the Spartans. . . is the product of a unique mind.

Spartans have been in marvel comics. Spartans might make a good costume this year.
We can't decide on an Octoberfest party or Halloween.

So who's going to Elff's party in Keebler, PA?  Is it in a hollow tree?

Party was a Blast
Here is the pre party alcohol round up. [This is only what I bought, multiple guest brought libations]

Some fun with Halloween labels for the soda

The 2 dispensers of witches brew

Here is a link to the
Halloween Party Pics

In some of the Pics you can see a container with a green liquid in it.
That was the Margaritas and it's a 3 gallon container.  We killed almost 2 of those.
So 5 gallons of Margaritas were consumed with over 2 liters of tequila in the total haul.
That's aside from the 3 liters of Long Island Ice Tea mix, champagne, rum runners, and cases of beer.

While there was a good crowd, Halloween caused alot of people to not be able to make it, so it was about 1/3 the normal size.
Fear not, We will have one next year for those who missed it.
