Topic: Formula D at Irwindale Oct. 16th and 17th

Its that glorious time again when drifting returns to California to finish off the season.  This is the event to go to as its the final round.  Last year several of us went out to support our solstice and sky teams.  This year we have 2 teams.  Darren McNamera is sitting in 7th overall in his V8 Sky.  Ryan Tuerck is sitting in 2nd place overall in his Pontiac Solstice.

The event starts Friday October 16th and continues Saturday the 17th.  Tickets are 32 for both days or 27 for just Saturday.  Looks like its general admission for Friday and reserved for Saturday.

If you want to go put your name up here and we can all try to sit near each other on Sat.  Depending on how many people we get this will probably need multiple purchasers for the block of tickets.  If you don't mind please put a cell phone number up on your post so we can all call each other on purchase day.

I would like to purchase tickets by Friday 8/2/09.  The good sections are already filling up.  Please respond ASAP when you know you can come.

I will be there for Sat only with my dad who is flying into town for the event.

I got an email from Andy Luk (he IS Formula D) yesterday, he says they expect the biggest crowd ever at the "House of Drift" I wish I could make it, I plan on being there next year. I have been working with him to add some East Coast events. Right now we are looking at Richmond International Raceway, he likes doing the events at tracks, even if it is in the parking lot like at Vegas. I am pushing for Fed Ex Field, but Andy wants to be at a track.
