Stock rims and tires
« on: November 09, 2009, 05:00:43 PM »
I have a set of painted (non-chrome) stock rims with the RSAs mounted.  They have 25k miles on them, need to sell so I can get new tires for the 19" TSW Nogaros I just got.  I am looking to get about $500 for the set.  Would also like to do a sale locally.  I will ship, but you pay for it.

GXPsy and I had a chance to see the new wheels test fitted to his Sol - we invited him to our place so he could use our jacks and tools. They look really nice! His asking price for the stock wheels and tires seems very reasonable. A good opportunity for someone. Don't miss it.

Thanks Rogue (Jeff) it was great coming out to your house and meeting you two.  Coming out answered a couple I had that I told you.  One being the lug nuts, wasn't sure if they were going to fit in the new wheels but they did.  I hope someone wants a set of the painted wheels, I dont want to store them in my place.  So once I get them sold the new rims will get tires and then go on.  People can shoot me offers via PMs if you want.

Rogue she and I have an agreement to meet up around Christmas.  I did end up buying a set of brand new Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires off ebay.  By the end of the year we will be meeting up at my uncles shop for me to get everything mounted/balanced and put on.  Shes gonna meet me there to take the OEM ones, just have to wait for my uncle to get back from Japan.

I forgot to come back here and update the info, since it came to an agreement from the BB.

So these are back up for sale.  Like before I really want them gone by the end of December or early January.  I am planning on having the new tires put on tomorrow at my uncles in Chantilly, VA and I might leave them there to have somebody come pick them up if they want them.

So 500 together for the set or 250 for the tires and 350 for the rims only.  I will ship at buyers expense, before they are sent out.  Or will delivery or meet halfway within a reasonable distance.

I did end up buying a set of brand new Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires off ebay.

Hi AMO,
What size tires did you end up getting ??
I just ordered a set of TSW Snetterton wheels in 19" so it's soon time to chose the tires. I'm thinking 245-40 in front, and 255-40 on the back.
What did you do ?

I did 245/40s for all 4.  I didn't see the benefit of going up to a 255/40 in the rear.  I also think that the 255 would of been harder to get on to the 19x8 rims.
