The following is a list of approved attachments file extensions.
doc,gif,jpg,pdf,png,txt,zip,xls,ppt,cfg,hpt,log,hpl,psd,docx,xlsx,pptx,eps,wmv,avi,mpg,flv

Click preview on the message, the on the lower left, click "Additional Options"

Note: The [Insert Attachment] feature wasn't used and allows the forum to manage the photo in a pop up window with a play feature and next/previous arrows.  You do not get those options with the next post.

Oh, BTW this feature is only available to Supporting Members and Vendors

The following method is great when explaining a large informational post and want to include photos in the text

This post demonstrates using the [Insert Attachment] Feature after selecting your photos
Large photos should be reduced if you use this option.

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

This photo is aligned right

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]
This photo is centered
[ Guests cannot view attachments ]
This photo is left alone and will remain left

Under "additional options" it states; Maximum attachment size allowed: #### KB, per post: 10

Looking forward to the pics. If you have more than 10 just carry them over to another post.

Ok, Go-N Def had a good idea tonight at dinner.  Have the forum auto resize photos as they get uploaded so you won't have to spend extra steps to post attachments.   I installed a fix tonight that does just this.

Quote
Description: Automatically resizes attached images to the same dimensions as for posted images.

This mod will resize all attached .jpg, .png, .gif, or .bmp images save them as .jpg. Either as they are being uploaded, or for existing images, when they are viewed. As well, any existing .png, .gif, or .bmp images will be converted to .jpg.
