Hey, so I found this cool app that lets you overlay data logging visually over video.

It's meant to work with all different types of logging data. I haven't seen if anyone has used it with HP Tuners though. Anyone care to give it a try? There is a free trial

Looks cool, but you would also have to be using a web cam right?

Yeah you'd have to have a cam in the car recording your run, but as a test, you can use any video. I'd like to see if someone with HP Tuners can test it. It'll help me decide if I am going to get the pro version of HP Tuners for data logging on the track, or another system.

I'm playing around with trying to get this to work with HPTuners. Also curious to see if they will support DashDaq or REV iPhone logs. Can anyone send me their logs from those apps. Or attach them to this thread.

that looks so nice, would be easier with IPhone (iRev and video camera in one device)

Right now it looks like if i take the HPT log and export to CSV then take the trackvision sample CSV file and copy and paste the HPT stuff into it, that it would work. Unfortunately, the app doesn't like my VMware.

What Norm Pasted is basically someone recording the gauge display off their screen, then using video editing software to do the overlay. I think that the Trackvision method producers a nicer final product, but of course costs money.
