DC Area Autox -- 2010 SCCA WDC Solo Schedule

Here are the dates for the SCCA Washington DC Region 2010 Solo events:

March 28, 2010 -- FedEx Field  -- Members' Only Practice

April 3, 2010 -- Level 1 School (Registration opens March 6, 2010 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!)

April 4, 2010 -- Level 2 School (Registration opens March 6, 2010 -- Throttle steering drills and 20 + runs -- Hell yes, I'm going!)

April 10, 2010 -- Level 1 School (Registration opens March 13, 2010)

April 11, 2010 -- Level 2 School  (Registration opens March 13, 2010)

April 14, 2010 -- Event #1  FedEx Field

May 2, 2010 -- Event #2 FedEx Field

June 27, 2010 -- Event #3 FedEx Field

July 11, 2010 -- Event #4 FedEx Field

August 1, 2010 -- Event #5 FedEx Field

August 15, 2010 -- Event # 6 FedEx Field

September 26, 2010 -- Event # 7 FedEx Field

The SCCA doesn't like me...All dates events are on Sundays? That just doesn't suit me very well. If you're working sunup till sundown, have a day around the house is a big deal. Might try and make the first A/X school segment, would love to do the second but I don't see it happening.

The Porsche club is also hosting an A/X school on April 10th, I believe. Wonder which is the better school?

April it is, I can try and learn to drive :)  Do you have to be a member for level 1 and 2?

Mods: Lose the chicklets, VentureShield, Dual horns, AfterShock spoiler, Weathershield cover, Lil Chromies, Red calipers with black Solstice stickers, Opel GT antenna and Solo GXP-RCD exhaust with a Solo hi-flow cat!

Is there a class for automatics, or would that be completely absurd to even consider driving an automatic in this sort of thing.

May not be the best choice, but having an automatic is no reason not to race.

Well looks like the SCCA A/X school is sold out, not exactly happy about that. Looks like I'll be in Sykesville for the PCA A/X school that weekend instead.
